Convidamos-vos a estrangeirar por esta terra de proximidades, deambulando como um flâneur, nesta Braga simultaneamente pagã e cristã, como já não se vê por aí, com todo o tempo do mundo, errante, apaixonado, caminhando incógnito por entre a multidão, para nos projetarmos nos outros, com quem trocamos o olhar fugaz, às vezes esboçando uma saudação, mas também mirando para dentro de nós, diluindo-nos na paisagem.

We invite you to be a stranger in this land of proximity, ambling like a flâneur, in this Braga, both pagan and Christian as rarely seen today: with all the time in the world, wandering, errant, in love. Walking unrecognised among the crowd, only to recognise ourselves in others through a fleeting glance, sometimes the semblance of a greeting, but also turning inward, blending in with the landscape.

Editor do Centro Atlântico (1995‑), empreendedor e especializado em fotografia de cultura e património. É autor ou co-autor, e responsável pela totalidade da fotografia, em mais de 40 livros bilingues de Turismo, Arte e Património, designadamente de todos os volumes da Coleção Portugal (18 vol.s), dos best‑sellers Praias Maravilhas de Portugal (2 vol.s), Douro Maravilhas do Património (2 vol.s), Castelos Maravilhas de Portugal (2 vol.s), Bibliotecas Maravilhas de Portugal (2 vol.s), Azulejos Maravilhas de Portugal, Azulejos à Mesa, Lisboa Vista de Cima, Porto Visto de Cima, Braga Cidade Bimilenar e Ode Marítima. É editor dos livros sobre fotografia mais vendidos em Portugal. Tem dez anos de experiência como docente no ensino superior, com pós-graduações nacionais e internacionais. Os seus dois filhos são a sua principal fonte de inspiração.

He is the editor of the best‑selling books on photography in Portugal. He has ten years of experience as a teacher in higher education, and he holds national and international postgraduate courses. His two children are his main source of inspiration.
